Its a succulent that is native to Africa The Desert Rose makes an ideal bonsai. It is easy to grow and look after. It is slow growing does not need a lot of regular attention. This Bonsai plant should be grown in a container indefinitely. It needs a lot of light and fresh air. Keep it in a bright location in winter. In summer keep it in a sunny location, which it will benefit from, watering it twice weekly. It Will only grow to a height of 6 inches (15 cm) in a pot so is well suited for Bonsai as it regulates its own size. The Desert Rose will not tolerate frost, ensure room temperature never falls below 2�C. Watering: Needs little water during winter, especially when kept cool. Increase water during growing and blooming periods. It will lose leaves if over watered. It will give a beautiful display with little or no extra effort.——————————————- This method of germinating adenium seeds has worked well for me and for my customers. I suggest that beginners plant one seed at a time until you are comfortable germinating adenium seeds. Soak the seed for 2-4 hours between two layers of wet paper towels. Do not let the paper towels dry out. Fill a small pot with a well draining cactus mix. Soak the soil and allow it to drain completely. The Adenium seeds are inserted horizontally no deeper than � inch into soil and covered lightly. Place pot in direct morning sunlight or under a grow light, keeping away from frosts or freezing temperatures. The amount of watering needed during germination will depend on a variety of conditions. I don’t allow the soil to completely dry out, but you must be careful not to keep the soil soggy or standing in water.
